SMS routing prehook

You can now route one-time codes (OTCs) through any SMS provider, not just Twilio. With our new SMS Prehook, youโ€™ll receive the full message payload and can send it through the SMS provider of your choice, based on your own logic or regional contracts. This works for all key flows: phone verification, login, MFA, and password resets. No matter which SMS provider your country uses, Frontegg can accommodate.

New webhooks for security events

Stay on top of suspicious activity with new webhooks for brute force and device fingerprints. You can now get instant notifications (via Slack or any webhook handler) when a brute-force attack or unfamiliar device is detected. Each alert includes details about the rule that was triggered, what was detected, and what action Frontegg took โ€“โ€“ so you can quickly follow up with your users if needed.

Search users by phone or username

Search for users in the Frontegg portal by phone number or username โ€” not just email. This is especially useful if you're creating accounts that donโ€™t use email as a primary identifier. Whether your users log in with a phone number, username, or email address, you can now find and manage them just as easily.

Authorization for AI agents

Want to try your hand at creating a fully functional AI agent with Frontegg? Authorization is available! Your AI agent can now act securely on behalf of users by enforcing entitlement checks before any operation, such as updating a ticket or posting a message. In addition, your AI agent can verify its own level of authorization to take an action, preventing it from going rogue. All of this works through a native integration with our Entitlements Engine and MCP tools. Entitlements checks run locally and policy updates are synced automatically, so no additional developer effort needed.

Dark mode for Frontegg portal

You asked, we delivered. Developers can now toggle dark mode in the Frontegg portal. Whether youโ€™re debugging flows or reviewing logs, you can now do it with a darker, more comfortable interface that matches the rest of your toolset.
